ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking DevOps Engineer to join our software engineering team in Pittsburgh. In this role you will bridge development and operations — designing and maintaining the infrastructure, automation pipelines, and deployment systems that power our software products. The ideal candidate is deeply comfortable with cloud environments, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure-as-code.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and automated software delivery
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP including compute, networking, and security
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Monitor system performance using observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty) and drive incident response
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and deployment strategies
  • Enforce DevSecOps best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and cloud configurations
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure role
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and associated managed services
  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes; experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, HashiCorp Terraform) are a plus
