Job Summary

Responsibilities / Duties

• Load and unload shipments from trucks, trailers, and containers in a safe and timely manner.
• Inspect, count, and verify incoming and outgoing products against shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading).
• Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment to move heavy items as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock and warehouse storage area.
• Follow proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent workplace injuries.
• Assist with staging shipments and preparing products for delivery.
• Communicate discrepancies, damages, or missing items to supervisors immediately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse workflow.
• Adhere to company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety procedures.
• Support cycle counts and periodic inventory checks.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Prior warehouse, dock work, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience working with loading/unloading operations in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse documentation and labeling practices.
• Knowledge of safety standards for handling heavy materials.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in a warehouse environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling shipments.
• Physical endurance and ability to perform repetitive lifting and standing tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning equipment.
• Knowledge of beauty supply products or similar retail/wholesale goods.
